Wow, I cannot believe that we are on the cusp of a new year.
So much has happened in 2018. It has been quite the year, if I say so myself. I moved abroad, got a new job, and celebrated our first wedding anniversary to name a few. There’s been adventures (our honeymoon and Spain, to name a few). And there have been ups and downs – a lot of them.
This year has been the most challenging year of my life. It has tested me in so many ways. Moving away from my family was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It’s that one thing that has caused many of my struggles, and has really tested my strength at times. I reflect constantly on the decisions that I’ve made that led me here, but never once have I doubted them. Because 2018 has made me realize I’m where I need to be.
I’m excited for what 2019 will bring. I’m honestly looking forward to it massively, because I have NO IDEA what it will bring. As always, I’m really just wingin’ it.
