When I started this blog, I had no clue that one day the things that I’d be most excited to write about would be things like nappies. Yet, here we are, a few years later with a toddler in tow, writing about nappies. I ain’t even mad. I’m completely leaning into it and everything else motherhood has given me. Anyway! A few weeks ago, Joone Paris kindly gifted me some of their products for Aidan, including their gorgeous healthy nappies. We’ve been trying everything out for a few weeks, so I thought I would share our experience using their products.
Joone lovingly creates healthy nappies and baby and womens products of the highest quality. They are the first company to offer full transparency as to what goes into their into the products. Using innovative technology, they’ve made it possible to trace the entire process of raw materials used straight through to delivery for any given product you receive. It’s truly amazing what they’re doing!
So, what was I sent? I was sent The Perfect Discovery Set, The Perfect Travel Set, and a bottle of The Perfect Moisturizing Milk.
The Perfect Discovery Set includes a pack of their nappies and two packs of their ECOCERT biodegradable wipes. Their healthy nappies are made of absolutely no nasties – you can see just what goes into their nappies here. Joone does have a nappy subscription option, but this set is a great way of trialing them out to see if they are right for you and your little one before you go ahead with a subscription. Plus, if you do decide to sign up, you’ll be refunded for the discovery set with your first month’s subscription. I don’t know many companies that will do that!
The Perfect Travel Set is another great option to try their baby care products before buying full sizes. I’m sure any new parent will agree with me that we tend to try and go through loads of different products until we find the right ones for our little ones! This set contains a pack of their wipes, and 4 x 100ml bottles of their products – The Perfect Olive-Oil based Liniment, The Perfect Hair & Body Wash, The Perfect Micellar Cleansing Water and The Perfect Moisturizing Milk. All products are conveniently packed in the perfect clear, travel sized case to pop in your bag when you’re on the go! I was also sent a full-sized bottle of The Perfect Moisturizing Milk.
Upon first inspecting the nappies, I was surprised at how cushiony they were. Seriously, they are SO SOFT. I’m sure if Aidan could talk, he’d say the same thing. I was a bit worried about the fit initially as Aidan is a big lad. It looked as though the side panels weren’t quite long enough. I’m pleased to say that they fit perfectly! And we’ve had zero leaks thanks to their anti-leak double protection. Plus they also come in a range of gorgeous designs to choose from (designs vary depending on size). I’ve used the wipes as well – I was given some of their olive-oil based wipes as well as their water based wipes. Both are ECOCERT, biodegradable and safe to use from birth.
Aidan is of course getting older, and will need to move on to training pants soon (which Joone also does!) but for now these are great. Look, I’m a Pampers girl; I’ve always been told Pampers is the best, and I’ve used their nappies since Aidan was born. But I’m going to be completely honest when I say that these nappies have given them a serious run for their money.
Joone’s baby care range is just as good as their nappies. They take pride in their clean products, which are (again) ECOCERT, and fully plant-based. Each of the skincare products that Joone sent were incredibly gentle on Aidan’s skin, but hands down the moisturizing milk was my absolute favorite. The products also smell incredible. I don’t know how else to describe the scent apart from “comforting”, which is exactly what something you put on your baby to smell like! Plus, in typical French fashion, the packaging is oh so chic. I’m very impressed with Joone and what they’re doing not only for our little ones, but for our planet. It’s important to set an example for our children, and with Joone’s help we can start it young!
