Well, we’re finally seeing our old friend the sun again! And its about damn time. My poor sunglasses have gotten almost NO USE whatsoever and it’s a travesty. Although, according to my husband, the REAL travesty is the fact that I’ve been rocking the same shades since before we met (so, we’re talking years, people), and apparently they make me look like a bug. In my defense, they are CUTE and were like $5 at Charlotte Russe. So, sticks and stones hun xx
Okay, so maybe he’s right – they are pretty old. Perhaps it’s time I up my sunglasses game. After all, I have A LOT of time in the sun coming up! We’re heading up to Leeds this weekend to visit some family, and pit-stopping in York to explore for a day on the way home. We also have a nice little holiday coming up in June – we’re going to Spain! I am so beyond excited – one of my little sisters is flying in from New Jersey and we’re taking her on a little vacay to celebrate her high school graduation. Plus, we’re showing her around jolly old England, so we will be spending a lot of time outside this summer!
And with this, I have somehow talked myself into the fact that I NEED some new shades, and quite possibly more than one pair. A girl needs options! I suppose I have my husband to thank – after all, he’s the one who said I need a new pair 😉
