Tyndale B&B

During our trip to Torquay, we had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of staying at Tyndale B&B.  And spoiler alert guys: we loved it.  What we didn’t exactly love about our trip was completely made up for by being able to stay at Tyndale.  And no, this isn’t a sponsored post – I just genuinely loved the place THAT much that I am fangirling over it.  And their eggs benedict.

Nestled in amongst about a million other B&Bs in the area, Tyndale B&B is a very small “bijou & boutique” B&B, with just four rooms.  That sentence alone should appeal to the vast majority of you (especially my fellow bloggers).  When you hear “boutique”, you KNOW it’s going to be Instagram-worthy.  And the place does not disappoint, my friends.

When pulling up to the B&B, we were met with a very inviting entrance adorned with lush plants and flowers and two beach chairs.  It had the typical coastal style to it, which I loved.

The B&B is owned by Andy, and Daniel – upon entering, we were met by Daniel.  He was so warm and welcoming AND helpful.  Since we didn’t know the area, he did not hesitate in busting out a map and showing us where all the sites were, where to eat, etc.

After giving us the low-down on how to get around, we were showed to our room.  Now, we’ve stayed in B&B’s before a few times, and they’ve been lovely.  But I’m not going to lie – we’ve always preferred hotels.  Well, I think our stay at Tyndale B&B changed that.  I was absolutely blown away not only with the service, but the accommodations as well.  The pictures online looked good, but they honestly did not do the place justice.

The bed was soooooo comfortable and we seriously slept like babies.  Seriously, I melted into that thing and was dead to the world.

There was lavender sleep spray provided, which definitely helped us drift off into a peaceful sleep.

Our room also had the bathroom of my dreams.

I’m OBSESSED with subway tile.  I think it’s so sleek and modern looking.

Love the fact that all the toiletries are from The White Company!

I know that most hotels and B&Bs provide tea and coffee, but I was NOT expecting this glorious box of treats.  There were varieties of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and sugar. They even provided a glass bottle of milk in the fridge (along with water).

Tyndale B&B also provides a lovely breakfast in their cozy, quaint dining room.  I believe I even saw a sign that they won a breakfast award, and rightly so.  They offered various things to choose from such as smoothies, juices, fruit, fresh bread, full breakfasts, coffee, and tea.

If you stay there, you HAVE to try their Eggs Benedict.  Hands down, the most amazing Eggs Benedict that I’ve ever had.  I loved it so much that I got it both mornings (and Steve even got it).

What sets Tyndale B&B apart from all of the other B&Bs in the area is the sheer attention to detail that Andy and Daniel put into it.  You can tell that they put a lot of hard work into making it a comfortable stay for all of their guests.  You can see if in the little touches – the lavender sleep spray, the comfortable sheets on the bed, the artwork on the walls, and the outstanding service provided by both Andy and Daniel.

I don’t know if and when we will ever get back to Torquay, but if we do I will not be staying anywhere else.  And staying at Tyndale B&B has definitely raised the bar for any future B&B that Steve and I stay at.

xx Lauren
