Happy Monday, all! We had such a great weekend; we went to Meadowhall to get some shopping done and get Aidan’s feet measured (he’s a 7.5G now…insane!), and then spent some lovely time with family on Sunday. I did manage to get a bit more Christmas shopping done online but I’m seriously way behind. Oh and I may have gotten my Christmas tree up already! It was delivered on Saturday and I wasted NO TIME getting it up the same day (still need to decorate it though). So yea, I’d say we are definitely in full Christmas mode in this house!
I am so excited for Christmas this year. I know I say that every year, but I genuinely mean it. Last Christmas was a bit of a write-off because we all had covid, and the year before that Aidan was just a freshly-baked newborn, so we were in that “just had a baby, are getting no sleep and have no desire to do anything else but cuddle our baby” phase. Aidan is just that little bit older this year where he’s starting to notice things a bit more and I’m looking forward to how magical this year will be for him! Plus, it’s our first Christmas in our new house, which makes it even more special. We’re thinking of foregoing any Christmas plans and just spending the day at home together, just the three of us.
