Baby McGrath’s Autumn Wardrobe + Mamas and Papas Review

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us! No, not Christmas (but that is quickly approaching…yikes!). No no, I’m talking about autumn! Literally the best time of year for fashion, in my opinion. And now that I have a little mini me to dress up, I’m even more excited! I was kindly sent some lovely pieces from Mamas & Papas to start off baby’s first autumn wardrobe, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with them. They really do have such cute baby clothes!

What I love about Mamas & Papas baby clothes is that they are absolutely amazing quality, but very affordable. The first thing that I actually ever bought for Aidan when I found out that I was pregnant was this beautiful baby romper.

So I picked out a couple of pieces that I thought would be perfect to help transition Aidan’s wardrobe into the cooler autumn months. I got him this t-shirt and jogger set; this romper; and these freakin’ adorable pyjamas .

All of these pieces are perfect for September, and the start of autumn. You know how it is, when it’s cool one day, but then you get a few warmer days here and there.

The t-shirt in the t-shirt and jogger set has a cute bear design print on it. I actually really love the fact that it’s not the standard “cutesy cartoon bear/animal” print that you see on a lot of baby clothes and is made up of sketches. The joggers have an elasticated waistband, and feel so comfortable. I believe that dressing babies for comfort is KEY. I don’t tend to put Aidan is things like jeans because babies need to be comfy! Especially now that Aidan’s crawling, I want him to be able to move around comfortably.

The romper is another great, comfy outfit. So incredibly easy to get on, too. I liken trying to dress Aidan to trying to dress an octopus…limbs going everywhere, and a lot of twisting and turning. So being able to just quickly put something on like this just makes life so much easier.

I got him some pyjamas as well, because trust me: you can never. have. too. many. pyjamas. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to do a panic wash because he didn’t have pyjamas ready for bed, so yea it’s definitely worth having a few extra pairs. I normally put Aidan in a sleepsuit because it’s easier (remember the octopus analogy!), but I couldn’t resist this two piece set. It’s SO CUTE. They’re 100% cotton, as well. Most of the clothing I buy him is 100% cotton, especially his pyjamas as it’s very soft, and breathable. I sized up on them to 12-18 months, so hopefully he gets a lot of use out of them!

I’m really impressed with Mamas and Papas range of baby clothes. I tend to find it difficult to find really cute baby boy clothes. Wherever you go, it’s always the standard “blue, dinosaurs, cars, etc.” and that’s just boring. They have so many different styles, and again, at great prices! I imagine that I’ll finish filling Aidan’s autumn wardrobe very quickly!
