Gorgeous Neutral Bunting To Help You Get That Scandi Look

There is nothing quite like finding gorgeous pieces to add to your home, specifically your little one’s room! I’ve been working so hard in Aidan’s room to make it a space he will love (and me, mostly me). I have handpicked everything that has gone into his room with so much thought and love, to achieve the calm, relaxing space I want it to be. A lot of the things I’ve found so far have been from wonderful small businesses, like Styled To Sparkle Kids Home Decor, who so kindly sent me this gorgeous bunting to help pull the space together.

Sarah, the face behind this lovely business, designs beautiful felt bunting for children’s rooms and nurseries. Offered in a range of colours and patterns, her bunting brings whimsy and style to any room. Aidan was sent the Scandi Neutral Bunting, which was absolutely perfect for his room. To be honest, I have no idea what “theme” or “look” I’m going for in there. I don’t think I’ll really know until it’s finished! But I do know that I’m very much going for a toned down, neutral look in his room and it 100% matches that aesthetic!

If you’re not into the Scandi/neutral look, don’t worry. Styled To Sparkle offers so many different colour options! There are pretty pastels, bright and colourful rainbow, stunning rose golds and peaches, and loads more. If none of that quite tickles your fancy, Sarah accepts custom orders so you can design the perfect bunting for your little one’s space. You can even have the bunting customised with your little one’s name, or perhaps a slogan that has special meaning to you.

The Scandi Neutral Bunting looks absolutely lovely when hung up. The colours perfectly complement the colour I chose for his walls, and his bedding as well. I just cannot for the life of me decide where I actually want to hang it! Aidan’s room is technically the box room of the house so it’s quite small. It also has the boiler reserve tank cupboard, giving it a really awkward floor plan. Not exactly ideal when trying to make all your DIY nursery dreams come true, but I’ve made it work! It probably doesn’t help that I’m so indecisive. I absolutely love it hanging from the cupboards above his dresser; that part of the room has somehow become my focal point so it adds a much needed touch of whimsy, I think. But then again, it looks so sweet hanging over his crib. I’m hesitant to put anything too heavy above his crib, so this bunting just seems like the perfect piece to put there! Aidan seems to think so, too.

I know I’ll probably be moving it around nonstop until I find the “perfect” place for it. The one positive about his room being so tiny is that I only needed a couple of metres of bunting. I can literally put it ANYWHERE in there and it looks amazing.

Who am I kidding? I know I’ll eventually order enough to drape across his entire room! Can you blame me? Although with this little “helper”, I’ll be lucky to keep it on the walls and out of his hands!
