Since becoming a mother, I’m so particular with the things I buy for Aidan, specifically things like clothing and linens. Most of items that I get him tend to be 100% organic cotton; I find it so important to shop this way because I want to keep his sensitive skin safe and I want him to be completely comfortable. It’s safe to say that my standards are a bit high. So I was so excited to find Little Blue Nest on Instagram one day. They are a UK based, family-run business that makes the most gorgeous products for your little one, like swaddles, bibs and comforters, to name a few.
All of their products are certified organic cotton muslin, which means the cotton is grown without the use of chemicals. And being organic actually makes it softer – perfect for baby’s soft skin! Cotton muslin is completely breathable and helps to regulate the body temperature, which is really important for babies!
How absolutely precious are these bibs that they make? They feature a stunning, hand-illustrated design (as all their products do!) that will absolutely melt your heart when seeing your little one wear it.
They’re made from 4 layers of organic cotton muslin, so they’re super soft AND super absorbent. Which, as all you mamas know, is an absolute must. I can’t tell you how many bibs I’ve put on Aidan, only to have them completely soaked through onto his clothes. Plus, they have three sets of poppers at the back; so baby won’t be able to rip the bib off half-way through meal time AND these will grow with baby as they get older.
The woodland creature design is adorable, and added with the jersey trim in earth tones, they’re completely gender neutral. I actually tend to find that gender neutral/unisex patterns are always the loveliest, in my opinion!
